We all have asked the LORD for so many things, and we still do, as long as we are alive. There is nothing wrong about asking God for our needs. In fact, the LORD Himself asked us, “2 Thus saith the LORD the maker thereof, the LORD that formed it, to establish it; the LORD is his name; 3 Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and shew thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not.” – Jeremiah 33:2-3.
However, the question is about, “What are we giving to the LORD?” Is that an important question? It sure is my brother and sister.
History records that on 12 November 1704, “Forty-two year old Matthew Henry writes in his journal that he means to prepare a commentary on the entire Scripture. A couple of days later, he adds, “I set about it, that I may endeavour something and spend my time to some good purpose, and let the Lord make what use he pleaseth of me.” He goes on to complete most of the project before his death in 1714. Friends will put it into final form and publish it.”
What are we making out of our lives? Do we not sing, “What can I give Him…” during these days?
"Let God have your life; He can do more with it than you can."
