AS WE WALK IN THE WORLD

We are called, as Christians, to be an influence for good, in the world…a positive influence, to be precise. The words of the LORD Jesus, in Matthew 5:13-16 speak the heart of God for us – “13 “You are the salt of the earth…14 “You are the light of the world…15…and it gives light to all who are in the house. 16 Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.”

The Apostle Paul explains the same to the Ephesian Christians – “8 for at one time you were darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Walk as children of light 9 (for the fruit of light is found in all that is good and right and true), 10 and try to discern what is pleasing to the Lord.” – Ephesians 5:8-10

AS WE WALK IN THE WORLD let us remember we are representing the LORD. Let us, walk wisely, and walk in a way that brings glory honour and praise to the LORD. Even so the LORD help us.
