Hurts happen in everyone’s life. People will let us down. Sometimes we may be the reason for the hurt caused. Whatever the situation and the context, it is important that we leave it, and let it go. Until then, our healing doesn’t begin.
Healing is essential for our health. It begins by the realisation of what is happening within. In some cases, the process of healing may take a lot of time, effort and energy.
The vicious trait of bitterness is that, it begins to contaminate everything else in the person affected. Within no time, our whole being becomes bitter, and we become the victims of our hurts…primarily because we allow it to linger on, and our inaction to change the direction of our path.
It is important to know, that we cannot resolve every conflict that we encounter, amicably. We have to let them go, forgive, or simply ignore. We have to show magnanimity in releasing the person who hurt us. If not we become entrapped, and will begin to pay a heavy price for a long time to come.
Secondly, we should learn to forgive ourselves, and accept our flaws as they are, if any. This is one of the first steps towards healing and restoration. Then spend our time and energy in rectifying our flaws. This process beings with the LORD, and our faithful obedience to what our Master asks.Don’t waste your time, energy, mental, emotional and physical health and precious resources over the hurts. They may be painful, and we may not be the reason for the pain. But still, let it go…for this is a sane and sensible thing to do. Always remember the LORD, who asked us to forgive, love and bless those who have hurt us. Let us obey!
"When you are overwhelmed with health problems, bad news, or relationship struggles, the Word of God can be your source of supernatural help. Don't give up!"

Yes. Unforgiveness destroys its possessor. Time we did ourselves a favour.
