Faith is an essential aspect of a Christian and his spiritual progress. Paul writing to the Corinthian believers, in 2 Corinthians 5:7, says – “7 for we walk by faith, not by sight.”
What we are asked by Paul, is not some blind faith, where we consider ourselves ‘lucky’ if things go as we “hope” for. What we are called to is, something much deeper, and more significant for our faith, and for our walk with the LORD.
Faith, as Paul says it, is to trust God with all our heart. It is not wishful thinking. It is neither super-imposing our desire onto God, and claiming it as faith. It is to trust God with our life, and all its needs, and walk forward by this confidence, that God, who called us out of darkness into His marvellous light, would provide all that we need, and that we don’t have to worry about, how things would be met, nor how it would all work out for us. Simply put, God will take care of it. We keep walking forward, regardless of how things are panning out.
Have a blessed day!!!
"To walk by faith, not by sight is one of the great – and difficult – principles of Christian living. It must amaze the angels that we live for, serve, and are willing to die for a God we have never seen. Yet we love Him and live for Him, living by faith, not by sight."
