Virtue is precious and priceless. It is the light, that guides us through the darkest moments of our lives, and help us take the right decisions in the face of confusion and chaos. One such virtue is patience. A wise old saying goes, “”with all that you have, get virtue.””
Patience helps the man, to avoid many a conflict. A patient man doesn’t get disturbed easily. He neither worries unduly. He will choose to wait it out, and see the outcome of a tense situation.
Many a times, our fears don’t come true, because they are just our imaginations. If we give in to them, they begin to appear abnormally big and powerful. This leads us to get paranoid. Once we are in the grip of paranoia, everything and anything appears as a threat, out to destroy us. After that, it is chaos running a riot in our minds, utterly disconnected with reality.
Beware and be careful. Trust God and His promises. Patiently wait for the LORD to lead you. Remember, it is the duty of the Shepherd to lead us. It is the duty of the sheep, to follow the Shepherd. Don’t ever misplace your position, and begin to be the master of your own self. Nothing can be more pathetic than that.
It is the responsibility of the Shepherd, not only to lead the sheep, but also to provide and protect them. Sheep need not worry, nor be disturbed about anything, however dangerous the situation might be. Trust the Shepherd, and He will take care of everything. Just trust Him. Do what He says. Do it as soon as He says it.
“”The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters. He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name’s sake.”” – Psa 23:1-3
