The salvation is free but it is not cheap. It is priceless; therefore, it is free.
It is not earned by works, nor can it be bought.
It is gift given to us by faith.
We were utterly lost, and helpless to save ourselves. The only way out was for God to pay the price, and we appropriate it by faith in the finished work of Christ.
