I am always amazed at the mad rush to get rich. I am equally amazed when people equate their wealth and material possessions to blessings from God. Let me say before going any further – there is nothing wrong with wealth. Most certainly, it is God who gives all the good gifts. The love of money, says the Bible, is the root of all evil.
Luther with his deep insight, dissects it plainly. People who measure everything in money, would place money, more prominent than innumerable precious things. They even measure God’s blessings in monetary terms. No wonder Luther calls them fools.
Remember, money is not the end product silly. It is merely the bye-product.
There is no security in money.
Money can’t buy you happiness and peace.
Simply put, money is a good slave, and a bad master.
Get your life in order my friend. Seek the GIVER, and the gift will come. Even if it doesn’t, there is no loss, for we have the Giver. Don’t ever run after the gift. Even if you get it, you will end up being the loser.
