THANKFUL AND GRATEFUL

The love of the LORD towards us is something that should always amaze us. When we look at ourselves, we are nothing but a mess. This needs no more evidence, than a courtesy glance at all that is happening today…right in front of our eyes. Yet the LORD loves us and cares for us. Can there be anything more amazing than this?

Let us read Psalms 31:19-20 and see for ourselves – “19 Oh how great is thy goodness, which thou hast laid up for them that fear thee; which thou hast wrought for them that trust in thee before the sons of men!20 Thou shalt hide them in the secret of thy presence from the pride of man: thou shalt keep them secretly in a pavilion from the strife of tongues.”

The LORD God Almighty, not only Redeems and Restores us, but also, stays with us, and ensures that we are safe, secure and well protected and provided. How can we understand such actions, except be amazed at this goodness, grace and mercy? Don’t you think so?

Therefore, let us be ever so grateful and thankful to the LORD, who has shown Himself to be nothing but loving and caring. May we spend all our lives thanking the LORD for all that He does for us…most of the times unasked. To Him belongs all glory, honour and praise, forever and ever.
