A “CHRISTIAN” TONGUE!

January 27, 2023Today, 26th January 2023, is the Republic Day in India. What a proud moment it is for a peninsula, not long ago, was a land of numerous small kingdoms, to come together in unity, and declare itself as a free, independent and sovereign nation, determining its own future. I am so happy for India, and I pray that the LORD God Almighty would bless this nation and its people. I pray, that we would acknowledge and accept, the Saviour’s offer of Redemption. This is my prayer.
Only the nation that we are born into, is called our ‘Motherland’ – some may prefer ‘Fatherland.’ I haven’t chosen to be born here. It was determined for me, and I had no choice. What does that tell me? It tells me, that the LORD gave me this land, and wants me to be His witness, here in this land. There may be so many things, that may not be going well in the society. God already knew about it, but still has placed me here. Therefore, it is my responsibility to be His witness in this land, and lift Him up.
I wish to stay here all my life. This is my ‘Motherland,’ and it is gifted to me by my Creator, Redeemer, Master and the LORD God Almighty. May the LORD help me to be His witness in this land – this is my prayer. What is your prayer today?
