June 30, 2022The creation that we see around us speaks of so many things to us. It teaches us some very valuable lessons for our life and our living. It is good and in our interest to notice the nature, and learn the lessons.
Sun – regardless of how the day goes by, is up and ready the following day, to continue to do what it is ordained by God. Of course, sun is inanimate and therefore has no feelings and emotions. However, the lesson for us – it continues to do what it was given as a task, regardless of the clouds and the rain…or any other obstacle.
The seasons – they change when their time comes. They do not wait for someone to tell them what to do. They know their work and they just do it. We have three very clear seasons – Summer, Rainy and Winter. Spring is not very visible.
How about us? Just as the sun and the seasons, we too have to carry on with life, with all its ups and downs, if any, without losing any enthusiasm for life and the living. Obstacle and problems do come. We need to be surprised, if they don’t. Isn’t it true?
The LORD knows what we are going through, and He is right beside us – “6 Be strong and of good courage, do not fear nor be afraid of them; for the LORD your God, He is the One who goes with you. He will not leave you nor forsake you…8 And the LORD, He is the One who goes before you. He will be with you, He will not leave you nor forsake you; do not fear nor be dismayed.”* – Deuteronomy 31:6,8
