The Bible says many things about life and the life after. The world says, “Who knows what is beyond this life?” Therefore, “Enjoy this life while you are still here.”
How about us? What do we think? What do we do with our life? How do we live it? What do we want to achieve in this life? The Bible records about people, who have come up with their purpose in life, as their prayers.
One such prayer is found in Proverbs 30:7-9 – “7 Two things have I required of thee; deny me them not before I die:
8 Remove far from me vanity and lies: give me neither poverty nor riches; feed me with food convenient for me:
9 Lest I be full, and deny thee, and say, Who is the LORD? or lest I be poor, and steal, and take the name of my God in vain.”
Such prayers reflect their priorities, their purpose, and their pursuit of life, as the Bible asks. Here under is my personal Three Little Prayers…1- “LORD, I want to be counted by You, as faithful, so help me to be faithful to You, in all the days of my life.”
2- “LORD may my entire family always walk in Your ways, and serve You, whatever profession they might pursue.”
3- “LORD may I serve and lift You and You alone, in all the things that You entrust me with, under all the circumstances, and in all the days of my life.”
Do we have a personal prayer like that?
"I know that the Lord is always on the side of the right; but it is my constant anxiety and prayer, that I and this nation may be on the Lord's side."
