THE WORD OF GOD

The Bible, which is the written Word of God is given to us with a specific purpose. God wanted us to have in written form, all that He wants us to know. This Word of God, is what will help us navigate life and all its chaos and confusion. If not for the Word of God, we would be running circles. Therefore it is imperative for us to know it thoroughly.

Here under are some verses from the Bible, to help us see the significance of the Bible, and its importance for our walk, as Christians.
THE WORD IS PURE!
– “6 The words of the LORD are pure words, Like silver tried in a furnace of earth, Purified seven times.” – Psalm 12:6
– “140 Your word is very pure; Therefore Your servant loves it.” – Psalm 119:140
– “5 Every word of God is pure: he is a shield unto them that put their trust in him.” – Proverbs 30:5

THE WORD IS PERFECT & ENLIGHTENING
– “8 The statutes of the LORD are right, rejoicing the heart: the commandment of the LORD is pure, enlightening the eyes.” – Psalm 19:8

DESIRE THE WORD OVER EVERYTHING ELSE
– “12 Blessed art thou, O LORD: teach me thy statutes…15 I will meditate in thy precepts, and have respect unto thy ways.” – Psalm 119:12, 15

There is nothing but benefit and blessing, when we read the Word of God. Let us read it everyday. For in it is, all that we ever need, and all that we can ever want. May the LORD help us to keep the Word of God, close to our hearts and read it night and day.
