“…wilt THOU not…?”

The enemy of God’s people was created even before man was created. The enemy of God is now the enemy of His creation also. The hatred he spews against the LORD God Almighty is now directed upon us, because the enemy cannot do anything to the LORD of all creation.

The schemes of the enemy, who comes as an ‘angel of light,’ are obvious, right from the Garden of Eden. Every physical enemy of the children of God has a dark spirit behind them. The Bible says, “12 For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.” – Ephesians 6:12.

We have nothing to fear about the enemy. Also, we have nothing new to do in response to the enemy. We have to do what our forefathers have done…turn to LORD, and seek His face. He will stand with us, and He will take care of every spirit of the enemy, and everything else.

We see the same in 2 Chronicles 20:12-13 – “12 O our God, wilt thou not judge them? for we have no might against this great company that cometh against us; neither know we what to do: but our eyes are upon thee. 13 And all Judah stood before the LORD, with their little ones, their wives, and their children.”

The threat was real. The enemy strong and vicious. The people lifted their eyes to the LORD, and lifted their voices to seek His help “…wilt THOU not…?” The LORD did help the people of old. The LORD will surely help us, His children.
