Learning, I believe, is never ending. It is a life long process. There is always something to learn. Even when we are about to die, I am sure there is something to learn.
A learning heart is essential for a healthy and successful life. One who is willing to learn,is the one, who will move forward, and progress well in life.
For someone to possess a learning heart, he has to first possess an inquisitive heart. A heart that is interested to learn, and a heart that desires to improve.
A desire to learn and improve oneself is a clear indication of a humble heart. For someone to say, I want to learn, is to accept, that they don’t know some things, and that they have the humility to pursue it.
What we learn should be for the good of all, and should not lead us into wrong things. Simply put, we should pursue to learn good things in life. Knowledge of bad and wrong things is not only immoral, but will have terrible consequences to pay.
The wiseman says in the Good Old Book – “9 Give instruction to a wise man, and he will be yet wiser: teach a just man, and he will increase in learning.” – Proverbs 9:9
May we pursue learning with all our heart, and all through our lives. May all our learning help us to be fair and just in all aspects of our life. Jeremy Taylor has some wise words for us, “To be proud of learning is the greatest ignorance.” So God help us.
"Is life not full of opportunities for learning love? Every man and woman every day has a thousand of them. The world is not a playground; it is a schoolroom. Life is not a holiday, but an education. And the one eternal lesson for us all is how better we can love."
