PURE AND RARE

Life goes through all kinds of twists and turns. Life enables us to encounter all kinds of situations. Life helps us meet all kinds of people. Some whom we meet are plain and simple. Some are complex, and some other complicated. Some are troublesome, and some irritating. Some are interesting, while some others are warm and caring. Some are friendly and always willing to help. Some others are always critical and eager to pick a fight. This is life.

The Word of God talks about someone who is PURE and RARE –  “17 A friend loveth at all times…” “24…there is a friend who sticks closer than a brother.” – Proverbs 17:17; 18:24

Such a friend is pure and rare because they accept you as you are; love you with all your faults; and is not jealous of your success. Isn’t it wonderful to come across such amazing individuals? However, they are not very common to be found. Such people are precious and priceless, because they are pure in their heart and motives; and they are rare to found, for such is their worth.

When we meet such a friend, relish their company and rejoice in their friendship. Let us keep them at all cost, and don’t ever let them go. Let us also learn to be one such person. May we spread love, joy and harmony and be a friend who loves at all times.
