The Word of God encourages us to be always thankful and grateful to the LORD, at all times, for all things and in everything. The bottom-line being, we are to be thankful to God whatever may be the situation that we are in.
David writes, “1 I will bless the LORD at all times; His praise shall continually be in my mouth.” – Psalms 34:1
Paul says, “18 in everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.” “20 giving thanks always for all things to God the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ,” – 1 Thessalonians 5:18, Ephesians 5:20
Some may find it difficult to praise and thank God at all times, for all things, and in every situation. Some may even take offense at such a proposition. Some other may find it cynical to even consider such a thing. Forget what others are thinking…“What do I think?” is the question we should be asking ourselves.
It is good to be grateful and thankful to the LORD at all time and in everything. The LORD had done so much for undeserving people like us. Even if we are in difficult situation, it is advisable to be thankful to the LORD, who promised us, never to leave us. In gratitude we see, a grateful heart, and a heart that trusts God, and waits upon Him in patience and faith. Do we need any more reasons and explanations?
"The Christian who walks with the Lord and keeps constant communion with Him will see many reasons for rejoicing and thanksgiving all day long."
