THE ONLY CERTAINTY IN LIFE

Life, as they say, is uncertain, to say the least. No one knows what is going to happen in the future. This is the reality of life. Yet, as Christians, we don’t need to be afraid or be scared about what will happen. Whatever may happen, it is good for us, to look to the LORD, and step out in faith. This is the best, and the only good thing to do.

The LORD is trust worthy, and He is truly concerned about us, and our welfare. Haven’t we seen the goodness of our Creator in the way He has redeemed us, by dying for us on the cross of Calvary? Hasn’t He provided our needs, and protected us thus far? What more do we need to reassure us?

THE ONLY CERTAINTY IN LIFE is God’s faithfulness towards us, despite our feeble faith and fickle minds. Many times, God has shown Himself to be good, gracious and merciful towards us, despite our utter unfaithfulness. Isn’t this true? “35 Therefore do not cast away your confidence, which has great reward. 36 For you have need of endurance, so that after you have done the will of God, you may receive the promise: 37 “For yet a little while, And He who is coming will come and will not tarry. 38 Now the just shall live by faith….” – Hebrews 10:35-38
