October 2, 2023Life is precious and priceless, in spite of all the storms, struggles and obstacles. Therefore, whatever may our lot be, we ought to celebrate life. What better day to celebrate our life, than our birthday?
Birthdays are amazing…even if there is nothing exciting happening around. Our life itself is a gift, and it needs to be celebrated with much enthusiasm. For we come only once this way.
Birthdays have to be celebrated no matter the age of the person. Whether one is young or old, we need to celebrate our birthdays, for we are celebrating the fact that we are alive today! This in itself is a miracle, and should be acknowledged and celebrated. According to one statistics, nine people die every second, in the world. That is a lot of people, who do not see another second. So, celebrate life, when we still have life in us.
Celebration of birthdays needs to be with gifts. Gifts, big or small, are the physical expression of our love and appreciation of the person, and the value they hold in our hearts. So celebrate the life of your loved ones with gifts.
Most important of all – May we make our lives to be a blessing to others. This is the best ‘return gift’ we can give to the LORD, who is our Creator, Provider and our Sustainer. Let us celebrate life, which is precious and priceless!!!
