Every human being on the face of the earth is the recipient of God’s goodness, grace and mercy. This includes even the wicked and the evil. It does not mean God is showering His favour upon the wicked and evil. That is distortion of the truth. The fact that the good and the bad, the just and the unjust are living and seeing a new day, is by the grace of God. But for the LORD’s kindness, none of us would ever exist and see the dawn of a new day. There can be no two opinions about this.
– “45 that you may be sons of your Father in heaven; for He makes His sun rise on the evil and on the good, and sends rain on the just and on the unjust.” – Matthew 5:45
God’s goodness is beyond human comprehension. The purposes of God in blessing even the wicked and the evil are many times unclear to us. However, this one thing is clear that LORD wants everyone to be saved. Will everyone be saved? Sadly, no; there will be people who will reject the goodness, grace, mercy and the offer of forgiveness of the LORD.
– “14 And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of Man be lifted up, 15 that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life. 16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. 17 For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved. 18 “He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. 19 And this is the condemnation, that the light has come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.” – John 3:14-19
Dear brothers and sisters, the LORD whom we serve is a God of love, forgiveness, goodness, grace and mercy. Let us always remember, and never ever forget, all the blessings we have received, and are receiving every day from the LORD. Let us remember to thank the LORD Jesus for everything He has blessed us with. Let us unceasingly offer our praises, thanks and worship, as a token of our love and gratitude to the LORD. Therefore, let us…
– “11 Sing praises to the LORD, who dwells in Zion! Declare His deeds among the people.” – Psalm 9:11
Even so, the LORD Jesus help us.
"Believers are called to actively sing praises to God, recognizing His sovereignty and presence in their lives...Sharing testimonies of God's work in our lives is a powerful way to witness to others and fulfill the Great Commission...Proclaiming God's deeds should be done with joy and enthusiasm, reflecting the transformative power of His work in our lives."
