January 20, 2022The LORD Jesus speaking to the disciples in Matthew 16:24, says something that we should take note of. “24 Then said Jesus unto his disciples, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.“
Solomon the wise writing in Ecclesiastes 3:1, has this to say. “1 To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven:“
Paul, speaking to the Christians at Rome in Romans 8:28, has these encouraging words for us. “28 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.”
Paul, writing to the Church at Thessalonica, says, “18 In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.” – 1 Thessalonians 5:18
As we walk our journey as a Christian and the disciple of the LORD Jesus Christ, let us walk faithfully and obediently, and “…let us run with patience the race that is set before us, 2 Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith…” – Hebrews 12:1-2
