The LORD will surely protect us from every harm and danger, and will certainly provide every need of ours. We need not have any concerns about them. The LORD has ably and amply displayed His love and care for us in the past. Therefore, we should not give room for doubts, but rather move forward in faith and in obedience.
In Deuteronomy 1:29-33, we see Moses reminding Israel of God’s faithfulness and His protection and His providence, in all their journey through the deliverance from Egypt, and all through the wilderness. The Word of God records – “29 “Then I [Moses] said to you, ‘Do not be terrified, or afraid of them. 30 The LORD your God, who goes before you, He will fight for you, according to all He did for you in Egypt before your eyes, 31 and in the wilderness where you saw how the LORD your God carried you, as a man carries his son, in all the way that you went until you came to this place.’ 32 Yet, for all that, you did not believe the LORD your God, 33 who went in the way before you to search out a place for you to pitch your tents, to show you the way you should go, in the fire by night and in the cloud by day.”
Each of us have our own Egypts, our own wilderness and our own storms and struggles. Don’t ever lose faith in God, but trust Him despite how you feel, and whatever you see. The LORD is working even if we don’t see it, and He will never leave us nor forsake us – Hebrews 13:5. Thankfully the faithfulness of God towards us, is not dependent on our faith, and our obedience. If so, we would have been lost and destroyed, long back.
Therefore, let us place our faith in the LORD who says, “10 Fear not, for I am with you; Be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, Yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.’ “13 For I, the LORD your God, will hold your right hand, Saying to you, ‘Fear not, I will help you.’” – Isaiah 41:10,13. Even so may we walk faithfully with our LORD.
"Whatever [the] fears, encourage [yourself] to face them - and then turn them over to God. God loves [you], and when we know Christ and have put our faith and trust in Him, we know He’ll never abandon us."
