THE AWESOME GOD!!!

Have you ever watched the night sky filled with stars? What an awesome sight it is! Have you wondered how a gas ball, which we call sun, stays in the sky, fixed in its place, and going about its job, without anything holding it in place? Have you ever wondered the beauty of gravity? Someone standing in Antarctic, though he is upside down, yet he doesn’t fall away from the earth! By the way, Antarctic is the South Pole of our earth. Someone standing around the equator, is standing horizontal, yet he stands just like anyone else on the earth!!! Isn’t that amazing!!!

Most amazing of all are the people, who see all this, and yet they say, there is no God!!! This beats everything else. The Bible declares unequivocally that the LORD God Almighty is awesome in all His doings!!! Isn’t He? Yes, He is!!! Therefore, the Word of God says “​1 Oh, clap your hands, all you peoples! Shout to God with the voice of triumph! 2 For the LORD Most High is awesome; He is a great King over all the earth.” – Psalms 47:1-2

The LORD of all creation is, not just awesome in His creation. He is awesome in His character, and in all His dealings with the human beings.  Look around and you will see it. Look at the cross, you can never miss it. Therefore, Moses declares – “3 For I proclaim the name of the LORD: Ascribe greatness to our God. 4 He is the Rock, His work is perfect; For all His ways are justice, A God of truth and without injustice; Righteous and upright is He.” – Deuteronomy 32:3-4

What an awesome God is He!?? Isn’t He? Therefore, the Psalmist considers “6 O come, let us worship and bow down: let us kneel before the LORD our maker.” – Psalms 95:6. Yes, come let us worship and bow down…let us kneel before the LORD our maker.
