February 8, 2023The human is a much discussed subject, doctors, psychologists as well as the moral and religious teachers. The Bible speaks with such clarity like no other. It is worth reading and knowing what the Word of God says.
Human heart and our success in life, are linked inseparably. Success as defined in the Bible is not material possessions. It is considered a by-product. The heart of the matter is the moral, ethical and the integrity of it. This is a true indicator of our heart’s condition.
We see Proverbs 16:1-3 giving us a deep insight into human heart and the LORD God Almighty, our Creator, Redeemer and Sustainer.
“1 The preparations of the heart in man, and the answer of the tongue, is from the LORD.
2 All the ways of a man are clean in his own eyes; but the LORD weigheth the spirits.
3 Commit thy works unto the LORD, and thy thoughts shall be established.”
Therefore, let us remember that, the LORD God Almighty is the central figure, and an integral part of our lives, and for us to truly enjoy life, and all that it has to offer us. Anything apart from Him, is a waste, even if we achieve material success.
