THE WOMAN

The Bible records in Genesis 2:18, that “It is not good that man should be alone.” So the LORD God created woman out of man. Then the LORD said “It is very good” Genesis 1:31. The intention of the LORD was not to create a superior or a slave out of woman…but “a helper fit for him.” – Genesis 2:18.

The purpose for which the woman was created, speaks about her role and her significance, in all matters of life, which is to be lived together with man. Though man was created first, but he was ‘incomplete’ by himself. Therefore, the woman had to be created…to complete that void or the vacuum.

The position, that the LORD bestowed upon a woman, is to become a blessing, and be blessed in the process. It is wise, not be influenced, by the ever changing trends and fads of the world. Rather, let us ground ourselves in the Word of God, and learn to trust and obey the LORD.

It is good that both man and woman know what the LORD originally intended, when He created them. This knowledge would be a blessing to us, and we would become a blessing to others around.
