THREE SIGNIFICANT WORLD ALTERING EVENTS, AND THE ANTI-CHRIST – II

October 20, 2023The third of the significant events that have occurred in the recent past, which is paving the way for the unveiling of Anti-Christ is the Israel-Palestine conflict 2023. There are some Jews and Jewish Rabbis who differ from the popular view about the Jewish state. As an earnest student of the Scriptures, what should concern us is, not so much about, who is right, and who is wrong. Rather, to CRITICALLY and DISPASSIONATELY STUDY, WHAT it is, WHY is it happening, and WHERE is it leading to. This should bother us a lot.
The point to note is that, this third event is the most critical among the three, and it has drawn the lines in stone. From this point on, it is no turning back for the world. The conflict between Israel and Palestine is the starting point of a bigger conflict. The world is now divided into two definite groups. One led by the West, and the other by the rest of the world, which the Bible calls, war with God and Magog. It is also referred to as, the battle of Armageddon, as mentioned in Ezekiel 38-39. We do not know when it would be, but *the first steps towards it are taken.*
How will it pan out? The third Great War, and the subsequent consequences in the world, will plunge the whole world into chaos. Then, the Anti-Christ will arrive on the world scene, presenting himself as the peace-maker, which would be agreeable to all parties. This is when, as the Bible scholars put it, the Anti-Christ will openly display his true colours by the “desecration of the Temple” of the Living God, which Jesus and Daniel call the ‘Abomination of Desolation’ – Matthew 24:15, Dan. 9:27; 11:31; 12:11.
The point for us to keenly note is this – if God and Magog fight against Israel and the West, and they will be defeated, then from which side would the Anti-Christ come? I haven’t see very many people talking about this. Daniel talks about Anti-Christ as the little horn. The accepted position by scholars and students of endtimes is that, the ‘little horn’ [Daniel 8] will come from Western Europe, to be precise, the “Christian” side of Europe, which is a revived form of the Roman Empire which never ceased to exist – Daniel 2:31-35.
Many Christian teachers, preachers and scholars avoid speaking out clearly, that the Anti-Christ will come from West. It is impossible for such a person to arrive on the world scene, to dominate and control like he does, unless there is a whole ecosystem in place, well before his arrival. Much more importantly, he should have the active and full support of the most powerful nations to stand with him, and support his cause. If not, no one can stand in such a position. If so, who is more evil – the kings of Gog and Magog or the “Christian” West which ushers in the Anti-Christ?
Gog and Magog, whoever they are, are evil undoubtedly. We as Christians should be more wary about the Anti-Christ, who is the representative of the devil himself. He comes to implement the agenda of his master, the Lucifer. Anti-Christ serves the interests of the serpent. He is the frontrunner for Satan – Revelation chapters 13 and 17.
My responsibility is to warn from the Word of God, it is up to each of us to do what we wish about the warnings from the Bible. Sadly, the church has become a geo-political ‘harlot’ to serve the interests and the agenda of the powerful group of nations, who will usher in the Anti-Christ. The greatest threat to Israel and to Christians, is not from Gog, Magog and the likes. They will be defeated, and God will enabled Israel to overcome them. The greatest threat is from the Anti-Christ, which the church is blissfully ignoring…nay, rather championing its cause. May the LORD help us to see it, and walk wisely.
