THREE SIGNIFICANT WORLD ALTERING EVENTS, AND THE ANTI-CHRIST – II

Second of the “Three Significant World Altering Events” which will lead up to the “Unveiling of the Anti-Christ” is the Ukraine-Russia War. This seemingly insignificant conflict, in a corner of the world is very significant. It is so because of what it has done so far, and is doing to the world and its nations.

The conflict between Ukraine and Russia, was never between two neighbours. A lot of neighbouring nations have dispute, which may even result in a bloody war. This war is between the West and its allies, fighting a proxy war, to defeat a particular nation, which stood well against these powerful grouping of nations, all through the history…even Napoleon in his best of days had to retreat.

The point of this writing is not to take sides, but to point out and highlight, the clear and unambiguous division of the world into two definite groups. The West – North America, Western Europe, Australia and New Zealand – on the one side, and the rest of the world on the other side. This war is the first clear and definitive step towards the third Great War.

What is presented here, the clear and definite division of the world, is not some vague theory of someone, sitting in one small corner of the world. European Council for Foreign Relations, in an article written on 22 February 2023, by Timothy Garton Ash, Ivan Krastev and Mark Leonard, title the article “United West, divided from the rest: Global public opinion one year into Russia’s war on Ukraine.”

The Third Great War will unveil the Anti-Christ, in all his ugliness. For such a day to occur, the world has to move in a particular direction, and toward certain pre-determined positions. The power of the evil one is certainly moving this world. The powerful nations think, they are free and independent, and are no slaves to anyone. However, it will be made clear how their greed for power, world domination and total control over the commerce and geo-politics of the entire world, will usher in the little horn of the prophesy of Daniel 8:8-12, and the beast of Revelation chapter 13. The ‘naive’ thought of being “good force,” and “absolutely free” and “independent” in their policies, will be replaced by their acceptance of the evil one, in exchange for global power and dominance. The rest of the world will be subjugated, on a win win format.

The point for us as Christians is not so much into taking sides in the war, because there are actually only two sides, right from the creation – Jesus and the Bible on the one side, and the rest of the fallen and unrepentant world, led by Satan, on the other. Therefore, as much as it is in our power, let us earnestly prepare ourselves to walk more resolutely with the LORD, in all faithfulness and obedience. For the days which are coming will be ugly and evil, and the people and the powers of the world, like in the days of Noah [Matthew 24:37] will be shamelessly open about it, and unapologetic, such as it was never seen before.
