DON’T GET CAUGHT IN-BETWEEN

Many things are changing in the world today, and are fast changing. Christians are being used and abused not only for their faith and beliefs, but also in  geo-political sphere. In simple words, Christian persecution is being weaponised to reach pre-positioned goals, which has nothing to do with spiritual matters and our protection and upliftment. Hitler has done it, so did communism, and so will all who wish to pursue geo-political influence, power, domination and world control.

We Christians should not only be aware of it, but also should avoid getting caught in-between the geo-political power tussles. It is good for us to know that, no one truly cares for Christians, at best, we will be used by powers that be and powerful people, who wish to promote their agenda, and expand their sphere of power and influence. If in the process, Christians come in handy, they will be used.

How can this be true and verified? That is a good to question to ask. Firstly, someone who is genuine and truly concerned about Christians, their plight and their welfare, will ALWAYS identify with Christians, and take a CLEAR and OPEN stand in their support, and UNAMBIGUOUSLY declare the right from the wrong, at ALL TIMES, and in ALL SITUATIONS. They will NEVER play hide and seek with the sufferings of Christians, and speak out and support our the cause, ONLY when it SUITS them, and is CONVENIENT for them.

Secondly, they would do all that is in their power to SOLVE the problem, and NOT mitigate, vitiate or make it worse than what it already is. Anyone who is not a peacemaker, is a warmonger. Warmongers are not interested in peace, but are passionate pursuers of death and destruction of anything and anyone who stands against their views, ideas and agenda.

Thirdly, the powers that be, should highlight the sufferings of Christians at all possible platforms, aiming towards disarming the matter, and in pursuit of peace. Those who truly care will not, and should not use, the sufferings of Christians for their personal and or their geo-political agenda.

The only Person to whom we should run to, and the only Person who is capable, and is willing to help, is the LORD God Almighty, our Redeemer, who willingly laid His life as a ransom to buy us out of our sin, and its consequences, because He loved us with an everlasting life. This is the real Helper!!!

The powers want to politicise, and take advantage of the suffering of hapless Christians. As Christians in India, we should be not only aware of such people and powers, but be as far away as possible from such people. We should not sell this God given country because we are undergoing persecution. However sever and intense it may become.

– Persecution is undoubtedly bad and evil. Let us have no two thoughts about it. But that should not make us sell this nation and its people, who are in the first place, given by God Himself.
– We are exhorted to be peacemakers, and not problem creators.
– We are to pray for the enemies, and do good to those who harm us.
– We are to be walking in the path of our Saviour, and not follow the lead of some geo-political agenda.
– We are exhorted to endure persecution and reflect the LORD Jesus, who left us an example to follow.

May the LORD help us to be true to the One who laid His life for us. May we be a blessing to this nation, given to us by God. May we shine for our risen Saviour, despite the inconveniences and the intense sufferings. May sanity prevail over our emotions. May the LORD help us walk in His way, as clearly and unambiguously stated in the Good Old Book.
