THINK ABOUT IT
Relationships take time to take root and grow. Not only time, but EFFORT, ENERGY, LOVE, FORGIVENESS, IGNORING the negatives, ADJUSTMENT, SACRIFICE, SILENCE, LETTING IT GO, GENEROSITY, CARE and CONCERN ought to be invested in large doses, “expecting no returns” whatsoever. Essential for it to blossom.
Difference of opinion is to be expected in any relationship. Such differences should be accepted and respected. Accepting the ground reality helps the relationship to bond quicker. However, they shouldn’t lead to disrespect.
Perspective and the attitude in a relationship should be to build the relationship and not break it. This helps to overcome many a difficult situation, and build bridges of reconciliation.
The bottom line – One cannot establish and run any relationship solely on the basis of rules and regulations. Such relationships will die a slow and painful death. For they are a contract and job to be done, and not a relationship.
God is the best example about how to build relationship. We are the example for how quickly a relationship can turn bad. Let us seek the LORD, that He will help us build our broken human relationships, basing on the principles that He uses to deal with us. This is the best and the only way to repair and restore any relationship.
