Success is sweet!…so it is said. However, success is not easy and simple. It may appear simple to an onlooker. Far from it, it requires a lot of things to work in tandem, before one arrives at the door of success.
Success, as I see, depends on three A’s – ARRANGE, ACCESS and ADAPT.
1- Success depends on how well one ARRANGES the information and the facts. This is very critical. The more organized the arrangement, the better it is. It is a mind-game.
2- Once we arrange it in an order, the next ‘A’ takes over – ACCESS. How well we access the information and the facts we have arranged, determines what happens when we confront issues. Quick and efficient access to information and facts, keeps the person a step ahead on the journey of success. It helps in analysis of the issue at hand.
3- Thirdly, how well one ADAPTS the information and facts to the context will tell us how successful one will be. Life is not 1+1=2. It is complex and certainly can get complicated. Hence, adaptation is a crucial component, that one has to have. The ability to adjust and adapt, without compromising on the standards. It is knowing what data to use, and what not to. This will greatly influence the outcome of all our efforts.
If one know has all the tools…has them handy too, and when the situation comes, if he is unable to access it and use it, then it is of no use. Let us remember the three A’s – ARRANGE, ACCESS and ADAPT.
"The difference between success and failure is work."
