April 28, 2024It is a good thing to praise God. Praise is befitting the LORD. He alone is worthy of all praise and glory, forever and ever. The prophet Isaiah understands this all too well. He beings thus in Isaiah 25:1 – “1 O LORD, You are my God. I will exalt You, I will praise Your name, For You have done wonderful things; Your counsels of old are faithfulness and truth.”
God has done wonderful thing – don’t you think so? His amazing works are visible to everyone who cares to see. Look up in the sky…look beyond the sky, into the amazing outer space…what wonders await us. Look at our solar system…look at it and marvel, the wonders of it. Look at the earth, and wonder at its beauty…be amazed at the systems than hold it all in one piece, hanging in the air, all by itself. How amazing it is to see, the wonders of God and His creation!!!
What wonders has the LORD done in your life? What amazing things can we list? Do we remember them? Do we thank the LORD for all of them? Do we talk about the amazing things, God had done, and is still doing in our lives?
Let us go to the LORD with the list of praise, more often, than with our list of needs. The LORD is worth of all praise. He alone deserves our praise. Are we praising the LORD God, enough? Let us begin right away.
