DILIGENT IN YOUR BUSINESS?

Diligence is an old English word, which aptly describes and defines a certain trait that is much needed for success in life. The word “Diligent” comes from the Latin, which means “to value highly” or “to take delight in.” In English it has always meant “careful and hard-working.” The idea of being a diligent worker means a worker, who doesn’t, blindly and mechanically does his job, but rather, earnestly and sincerely, with all his heart and mind, does everything right, to the best of his ability.

The Word of God, diligence to be an important and essential trait for a child of God.  Kindly consider the insights it has for a diligent worker…

1- DILIGENT MOVE FORWARD: “29 Seest thou a man diligent in his business? he shall stand before kings; he shall not stand before mean men.” – Proverbs 22:29

2- DILIGENT ARE HARD WORKING: “4 He becometh poor that dealeth with a slack hand: but the hand of the diligent maketh rich.” – Proverbs 10:4-5

3- DILIGENT ARE WISE IN PLANNING AND PREPARE IN ADVANCE: “5 He that gathereth in summer is a wise son: but he that sleepeth in harvest is a son that causeth shame.” – Proverbs 10:4-5

4- DILIGENT RULE: “24 The hand of the diligent shall bear rule: but the slothful shall be under tribute.” – Proverbs 12:24

5- DILIGENT ARE ACTIVE…THERFORE INCREASE: “27 The slothful man roasteth not that which he took in hunting: but the substance of a diligent man is precious.” – Proverbs 12:27

6- DILIGENT ARE BLESSED: “4 The soul of the sluggard desireth, and hath nothing: but the soul of the diligent shall be made fat.” – Proverbs 13:4

7- PLANS OF DILIGENT SUCCEED: “5 The thoughts of the diligent tend only to plenteousness; but of every one that is hasty only to want.” – Proverbs 21:5

May we be found by our LORD, to be a diligent worker, and not like the one talent person – Matthew 25:24-28.
