January 4, 2022Life in the present world is very uncertain and unpredictable. It can change any moment. This uncertainty is what troubles us and makes it stressful. Even a Christian is not exempted from such a situation. However, a Christian need not feel lonely and stressed. The LORD is with us.
Psalms 46:1-3 is a timely reassurance to us, just for such uncertain and unpredictable times. ”1 God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.
2 Therefore we will not fear though the earth gives way,
though the mountains be moved into the heart of the sea,
3 though its waters roar and foam,
though the mountains tremble at its swelling. Selah” – Psalms 46:1-3
Let us trust the LORD. He will help and guide us through every situation. He is faithful and He keeps His word, always. Let us learn to trust God and walk in obedience to His Word.
