Is our life filled with problems and pain? Is there confusion and chaos? The Word of God gives us some very fine examples for our reference, to trust God, when life is incomprehensible.
1- Noah built an ark by faith, when they never heard of rains and floods.
2- Abraham went where the LORD led him, by faith, not knowing his destination.
3- Joseph kept his dream alive in all the ups and downs.
4- Daniel steadfastly held on to what is right despite all the chaos around.
Life as we live, can get complex and complicated. We may, many times, not feel the LORD, nor “see” His hand guiding us. This is when we have to trust the LORD more that any other time. Charles Spurgeon, a seasoned and we’ll grounded Christian, has this to advise us – “We cannot always trace God’s hand, but we can always trust God’s heart.”
The Good Old Book emphasizes this for our clarity – “…those who know your name put their trust in you, for you, O LORD, have not forsaken those who seek you.” – Psalm 9:10
