THE VALUE OF TRUTH

Truth as a standard is invaluable and indispensable. One has to pursue the path of truth irrespective of struggles, difficulties, obstacles and opposition. This is in our best interest. In upholding the truth, we are upholding all things that are good and righteous.

If one chooses to break away from the path of truth, however good and noble may be in our intentions, it will lead to confusion, chaos, and ultimately our destruction. It will be a wasted life.

Many an individual, for the sake of convenience, and a quicker way to achieve “success,” sacrifice the truth, and walk willingly on the “grey” path. The problem with the grey path, though very alluring, is a path of deception and destruction. Once we begin to tread on it, we would never know when we move from grey to black. Most of the times it is a point of no return. The reason being, it is a one way street. Even if one returns, it will be a scar-filled life, and a painfully slow moving journey…an unfruitful life.

However difficult it might be, let us walk the path of the truth. It has nothing but blessings and a satisfied life. Let the LORD say to us, “Well-done thou good and faithful servant.’
