What happens around us is not in our hands, and is not of our making. There are innumerable reasons for all that is happening around us. There may be, or may not be, our contribution to it. Whatever the case, how should we are the children of God and His disciples respond?
There is a song, which can help us look at all the chaos and storms around us, in a manner, befitting a child of God – “Whether it’s your best day, your worst day, some Tuesday or your birthday.
Every day’s a good day… now let me tell you why.
If you’ve got air in your lungs, if you’ve got blood in your body, you are a child of God!
Come on and sing it somebody.
On my best day, I’m a child of God.
On my worst day, I’m a child of God (Oh)
Every day (every day) is a good day (is a good day)
The above song should remind all of us about Psalms 118:24 – “24 This is the day the LORD has made; We will rejoice and be glad in it.” No matter what, as a child of God, it is good to praise and thank God. The LORD God Almighty is the God of every single day…good, bad or ugly…He is still on the throne, and He is the Sovereign King over everything…visible or invisible. HalleluYah!!!
May the LORD bless our day, and all our efforts for today, as we walk through it with praise on our lips, and thanksgiving in our heart. O CHILD OF GOD…NO MATTER WHAT…keep PRAI…SING.
"Let us, therefore, forsake the vanity of the crowd and their false teachings, and turn back to the Word delivered to us from the beginning."
