Just as seasons in nature, so also seasons in life. There will be times when everything is bright and blooming. There will also be times, where everything is cold and unresponsive. Both the extremes are for a purpose, and ultimately both the pleasant sun, and the shivering cold, serve its purpose to help us.
At times when things get freezing cold, and life seems unbearable, let us never forget that our LORD is mindful of us, and is eager to help us through it all. That is why David says – “23 You who fear the LORD, praise Him! All you descendants of Jacob, glorify Him, And fear Him, all you offspring of Israel! 24 For He has not despised nor abhorred the affliction of the afflicted; Nor has He hidden His face from Him; But when He cried to Him, He heard.”
Isn’t it wonderful to know that, the LORD cares for us, and will not despise our cries. He doesn’t hide His face from us, nor does He detest and distances Himself from us. Therefore, praise Him and glorify Him…always!!!
Let us never forget, but rather remember always, “35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?” – Romans 8:35
"We continually encounter hardships. People disappoint us. We disappoint ourselves. But God is constant and compassionate. We are not alone. He cares. Against all reason, the transcendent God loves us so much that He has committed Himself to us."
